SaaS Customer Administrator
Each Costpoint Enterprise Cloud customer must have at least 1 designated SaaS Customer Administrator.
You must provide the name and email address of your company’s SaaS Customer Administrator during, or prior to, signing your SaaS subscription agreement.
Your company can have a maximum of five SaaS Customer Administrators at any given time. Each SaaS Customer Administrator will have the same authority to administer the Costpoint solution and will receive the same communications from Deltek.
The SaaS Customer Administrator is responsible for managing your company’s Costpoint implementation or migration and any ongoing cloud activities with Deltek. Some of the SaaS Customer Administrator’s responsibilities include:
- Uploading databases when necessary
- Receiving and communicating throughout your company system maintenance announcements
- Requesting backup restores
- Requesting access to the development environment
For security purposes, Deltek will only process service requests that are submitted to Deltek Customer Care by your company’s SaaS Customer Administrator. Requests submitted by personnel other than your SaaS Customer Administrator will be rejected.
Deltek recommends that you assign a second SaaS Customer Administrator to ensure that your company is able to receive communication regarding your Costpoint solution at all times and that an administrator is always available to carry out service requests. Companies often assign 3rd party implementation consultants as SaaS Customer Administrators during the implementation period. Reminder, this will provide the 3rd party implementation consultant with full SaaS Customer Administrator authority over your Costpoint. Also, companies often assign their SaaS Developer as a SaaS Customer Administrator. See the SaaS Developer guide for more information.
If your organization needs to change the SaaS Customer Administrator’s information or add/remove a SaaS Customer Administrator, please submit a service request to Deltek Customer Care as described in the Submitting a Service Request section of this document.
